By tram and bus

The nearest stops are Museumplein (tram 2, 5 and 24, bus 357 and 397) and Concertgebouw (tram 5, 12 and 24, bus 347 and 357).

From the other stations

From Zuid WTC take tram 5 towards Westergasfabriek to Concertgebouw. From Amstel take tram 12 to Concertgebouw. From Sloterdijk take tram 19 and change at Leidseplein to tram 2, 5 or 24.

From Schiphol

Bus 397 leaves from stop B17, outside Schiphol Plaza, and runs to Museumplein and the Rijksmuseum. It leaves every 7.5 minutes and takes about 25 minutes.

By car or by bike

The Q-Park Museumplein car park has its entrance on Van Baerlestraat. There are bike racks outside the museum, but only a few, so arrive early or park nearby.

Next to the Rijksmuseum and Moco

The Rijksmuseum stands right next door, and the Moco Museum is a short walk away, so the three fit well into one day on Museumplein.

Visitors with reduced mobility

The museum has lifts and welcomes wheelchairs, walking frames and prams. A visitor with a disability has a priority entrance, and a companion enters free.
